Jointing procedure
Four steps, in order.
- Step 01
Clean surfaces
Clean pipe and fitting ends from dust and any burrs to ensure a clean surface for bonding.
- Step 02
Mark insertion point
Insert the pipe or fitting into the joint and mark with a line the point of farthest travel.
- Step 03
Apply solvent cement
Apply solvent cement to both ends.
- Step 04
Join and set
Re-insert pipe or fitting ensuring the marked line coincides with the edge of the pipe and leave to dry.
